Reflecting back on 2008 I realize that one of the things that has made me happiest was starting “The Intelligent Cruiser”. Although it has only been active for 2 months, I am very happy with what I have accomplished so far. If the early numbers are any sort of indication I feel pretty confident predicting that 2009 will be even better.
One thing that I have learned about myself in the 32 years I have spent on this planet is that unless I write something down it stays locked up in my head forever. Knowing that, I figure I’d take this opportunity to write down my goals for this blog in 2009. By posting my goals for all to see it will give me motivation to make “The Intelligent Cruiser” a quality website.
- Write AT LEAST 3 new (cruise related) posts every week
- Get some sort of logo
- Get a blog layout that doesn’t suck
- Get readers to start commenting
- Get 500 people to click on the big orange thing at the top of the page to subscribe to this blog
- Go on and review 3 cruises
I feel that if I can complete most or all of the goals “The Intelligent Cruiser” will be a success in the New Year. What goals do you have for 2009, feel free to comment and share a few with us.
