The Intelligent Cruiser Says Thanks to All Our Troops

To celebrate Memorial Day many Americans get a three day weekend. During these three days we may visit the beach, throw a barbeque or use it as a chance to just relax and do nothing. While there is nothing wrong with any of that, make sure you do take time to remember the true meaning of Memorial Day. At 3 p.m. today please stop whatever you are doing and take a moment to participate in the “National Moment of Remembrance”.
The National Moment of Remembrance program was something established to remind all of us Americans of the great sacrifices made by those who have fight or have fought to protect the values of our country. It only takes a minute to show your appreciation, so no matter where you are please take a moment to pause at 3 p.m. in this symbolic act of unity to honor these heroes.
As we contemplate the comforts and blessings of our lives and the well-being of our nation, I ask you to pause just for a moment to remember those who gave their lives to protect the values that give meaning to our lives.”
